About Nia…
Nia Smart is a public health practitioner, consultant, speaker, and facilitator who supports communities and the organizations that serve them. For 10+ years, she has led and supported community engagement and health literacy efforts that help people find, understand, and use health information and services to make informed decisions. She created Smart Conversations with Nia, a talk series and facilitation experience that helps leaders and teams move from ideas to action through honest, no-fluff conversations. When she’s not hosting a Smart Conversation, she’s usually at a coffee shop, enjoying live music, or planting new seeds in her community.
